In the gaming industry, not many companies produce great slasher games. Capcom Studio is an exception, and in 2019 it finished work on the project Devil May Cry 5. In the fifth part, the developers decided to continue the story of the demonic invasion of Earth. The protagonist Nero, unfortunately, lost his hand, but the story is not finished, and now in battle he uses a mechanical prosthesis. Engineer Niko tried to ensure that the hand was functional and allowed the main character to crush the monsters.
Gameplay
Nero freely moves around the city, collects spheres, fights enemies. Magic stones bring experience points, the player can get new weapons or improve their own skills. All superpowers are allowed to check in training mode. Gerber (devil's scourge, prosthesis) is the main weapon in the arsenal. With it, you can do the following:
rift;
Double punch;
throw;
quick attack.
There is an opportunity to concentrate on a specific enemy. During the attack, the label is allowed to rearrange.
Game menu
Right during the battle, you are allowed to go to the menu, where the following items are presented:
1 Hero abilities.
2 Pistol Blue Rose.
3 Sword of the Scarlet Queen.
4 Accelerator (shock boost).
5 Beat the Devil.
The ability tab presents Nero's capabilities (movement, camera control, target acquisition, jumping). The Blue Rose pistol is used in various modes (normal shooting, bright colors, hinged shot). The sword of the Scarlet Queen allows you to make an effective attack (combo, taking a tape measure).
By collecting experience points, additional tricks become available:
1 Double shot.
2 Cut.
3 Fault time.
4 Demoman.
The combat system
In the city of the hero often found tentacles that look like scorpion's tails. They can be destroyed with the help of a sword, a pistol. Other enemies climb out of the ground. Using a prosthesis, it is allowed to shoot lasers or create an explosive wave.
Locations of the game
In the city, the protagonist meets amazing places:
huge museums;

magnificent arches;
alleys in the garden.
Some buildings were badly damaged during the demon invasion. Most of the cars look destroyed and the monuments destroyed. On the road there is broken glass, overturned tanks.
Nero will visit the buildings. There is no need to run through narrow corridors, there is enough space for battles on the premises. The exits can be blocked, Nero must deal with all the creatures, and then the passage will open.
Opponents in the game
Developer brand chip can be called the creation of terrible monsters from the other world. All of them have a demonic color and it is a pleasure to destroy such creatures. However, do not wait for easy fights, because the enemies are attacking from the ground and from the air. Nero is waiting for many opponents, similar to the huge ants, bees.
Bosses in the game just will not leave anyone indifferent. Only Goliath worth. It is a semblance of Godzilla and a dragon. During the attack, such a boss uses all the paws, tail and fangs. To go through the enemy of Goliath from the first time without super accepts is an impossible task. The player must gather to the maximum and are not afraid to approach the monster.
