Description:
One of the most successful operating systems ever released by Microsoft. It remains popular to this day. The assembly was created for those who remain faithful to the good old last user-friendly system, as well as for those who, due to needs or need, have to work with Windows XP.
The differences of this assembly from the original image of Russian Windows XP Professional SP3 VL:
The system updates (including IE and WMP), available in March 2017, are integrated, as well as a set of technical non-public updates "Unofficial RE"
Updated Internet Explorer to version 8. Supports rollback to "native" IE6 and the ability to install without IE8
Integrated drivers for SATA-AHCI controllers (based on the extended package from YikxX)
Patched TCPIP.SYS to a limit of 500 connections (in the original - 10). This is necessary for the normal operation of programs such as BitTorrent clients
Patched uxtheme.dll for the ability to install unsigned themes, fixed themeui.dll
Automated OS installation process to hard disk (after partition and file system selection), serial number input is not required
Removed some garbage components (see below)
Some default settings have been changed (see below)
Added for manual installation: Direct X, a set of runtime libraries, .Net Framework 1.1-4.0 (ADDONS folder)

Preparing the installation (boot) USB flash drive:
Format the USB flash drive in BOOTICEM: Select the desired flash drive (at least 1 GB in size) from the Destination Disk list, then click Parts Manage -> Re-Partitioning -> USB-HDD mode (Single Partition), File System: NTFS or FAT32 -> OK. Reconnect the flash drive and run the WINXP_SHARICOV_20170619_USB.EXE executable and specify the path to the root of the flash drive to be unpacked.
// do not try to unpack the file as an archive, it is password protected and can not be unpacked easily //
When you boot from the USB flash drive, you will be asked to press Ctrl or F9 to go to the multiboot menu or any other key (except Esc) to start the Windows installation. However, you can start the installation from the multiboot menu, by selecting the desired option.
Preparing the installation CD:
Start BURNCDCM.EXE, click the "Browse" button and specify the location of the file WINXP_SHARICOV_20170619.ISO, select the drive ("Device") on which to write, click "Start". By default, the disc will be recorded at the minimum speed ("Speed" scale). Recording at high speeds can lead to poor readability of the disc, up to the appearance of unrecoverable read errors.
Notes on installing on a virtual machine:
Some VMs ignore the key specified in the system installation script. Therefore, during the installation phase, you may need to manually enter the product key. It can be found in the file \ -CDINFO-.TXT. But there is an option better: when creating a new virtual machine, do not fasten the ISO image at once, do this after creating and saving the profile of the new VM.
